Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Coming Soon to Canyon City, CO

Authentic Texas Barbecue Expands to 127 Justice Center Rd, Unit T

CANYON CITY, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, the world’s largest barbecue concept, is set to fire up its pits in Canyon City, Colorado with a new location opening soon at 127 Justice Center Rd, Unit T, Canyon City, CO 81212.

Longtime Dickey’s franchisee Bobby Rusnak is leading the expansion and says the new restaurant is more than a business move. “I have been a proud part of the Dickey’s family for years, and every new location is about more than barbecue. It is about building connections and creating a space for families to gather,” said Rusnak.

That sense of community is exactly what Laura Rea Dickey, CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc., emphasizes as a cornerstone of the brand. “We are thrilled to expand in Colorado with Bobby Rusnak, who has been an exceptional partner to our brand. His dedication to serving guests with genuine hospitality mirrors our mission of sharing great barbecue with every community we touch,” she said.

The Canyon City restaurant will feature Dickey’s signature menu of pit smoked meats, homestyle sides, and family packs, options that have fueled the company’s nationwide growth. Roland Dickey, Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Capital Group, explained how each new opening reinforces the brand’s legacy. “Every opening is a chance to bring people together over the food we have been perfecting since 1941. Canyon City families will soon get to experience why Dickey’s is the go to name for barbecue nationwide.”

Rusnak added that the new restaurant will bring world class barbecue to the local community. “Canyon City is ready for authentic flavors, and we cannot wait to serve guests the same pit smoked barbecue that has made Dickey’s a household name,” he said.

Guests will be able to enjoy dine in, takeout, delivery, and catering services, making it easy to bring Texas style barbecue to any occasion.
