RLI Promotes Gayathri Mariappan to Vice President, Information Technology

PEORIA, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RLI Corp. (NYSE: RLI) -- RLI Corp. today announced the promotion of Gayathri Mariappan to Vice President, Information Technology (IT). In this role, Mariappan will oversee RLI’s enterprise IT strategy and advance technology initiatives designed to expand product distribution, enhance the customer experience, improve operational efficiency and support long-term business growth.

Mariappan joined RLI in 2008 as a Senior Business Analyst and has since advanced through several IT leadership roles, most recently serving as Assistant Vice President, IT. She brings more than 20 years of insurance industry experience and holds the Associate in Insurance Data Analytics (AIDA) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and her MBA from Bharathiar University in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
