Global Breakthrough of Chinese Automotive Brands: GWM Creates a New Paradigm of Trust and Quality in Brazil

IRACEMÁPOLIS, São Paulo--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The GWM Brazil Plant is not just a new manufacturing base, but also a vivid showcase of China’s intelligent manufacturing gaining the trust of global users.

With production now underway, the first batch of Brazilian consumers are already experiencing GWM’s intelligent, efficient, and reliable mobility solutions — redefining the trust model for Chinese cars in the global market.

The plant achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification before production, passing with zero non-conformities, ensuring globally consistent high standards in design and manufacturing.

The first-phase production lineup includes the GWM HAVAL H6 hybrid SUV, the GWM POER 2.4T pickup, and the GWM HAVAL H9 seven-seat SUV, precisely tailored to meet the Latin American market’s demand for intelligent features, energy efficiency, and off-road performance.

“I was previously cautious about Chinese car brands, but after test-driving the GWM HAVAL H6 hybrid, I was impressed by its power response and fuel efficiency,” said João Silva, the first local owner of a GWM HAVAL H6. “This is not just a car — it’s a brand-new travel experience.”

“We hope to win the trust of every user through reliable products and sincere services,” said Mu Feng, President of GWM. “Our Hi4 hybrid technology, intelligent four-wheel drive, and comprehensive energy solutions for green manufacturing and sustainable development (including hydrogen and other technical paths) are all designed to deliver smarter and more sustainable mobility.”

Trust, as GWM executives made clear throughout the day, isn’t built in a boardroom — it’s earned in after-sales support, community engagement, and consistent product performance. To that end, GWM is actively building a localized digital user ecosystem and expanding a regional service network designed to meet Brazilian expectations in real-time.

Beyond products, GWM is enhancing user trust through a localized digital user ecosystem and optimized service network. The plant has already created hundreds of jobs and is fostering social integration and cultural mutual trust through cooperation with local communities.

From “Made in China” to “Intelligently Made in China,” from product export to trust co-construction, GWM is showcasing the comprehensive advancement of Chinese automotive brands in technology, quality, and user care — with Brazil as a strategic fulcrum.
