Data Center World POWER 2025 Keynotes Tackle Grid Reliability, Energy Innovation and Data Center Growth

Leaders from Alaska, Dell Technologies, ERCOT, Compass, and Lancium to Address Energy Demands of the AI Era

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Data Center World POWER - a new conference dedicated exclusively to the intersection of data centers and power - today announced its keynote speaker lineup highlighting leaders from government, grid operations, and the data center industry who are driving the future of digital infrastructure and energy. Taking place September 29 - October 1, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas, the inaugural event welcomes Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy, Dell Technologies Global Industries CTO & Energy Lead David Holmes, ERCOT Chief Operating Officer Woody Rickerson, Compass Datacenters CEO Chris Crosby, and Lancium CEO Michael McNamara to the keynote stage.

“Together, the speakers appearing in our program are tackling one of the defining challenges of the decade: powering unprecedented digital growth driven by AI, cloud and connectivity,” said Bill Kleyman, Executive Chair, Data Center World and CEO and Co-founder, Apolo. “By featuring industry innovators and grid operators alongside government leadership, Data Center World POWER is convening the people who are rising to the challenge to urgently provide resilient, sustainable and reliable energy solutions.”

The Data Center World POWER keynote speaker lineup kicks off with ERCOT’s Woody Rickerson and Compass’ Chris Crosby discussing the “Power Paradigm Shift: How Texas is Leading the Charge in Powering Digital Infrastructure to Support the AI Roadmap.” As AI and hyperscale deployments push power demand into uncharted territory, Texas is setting the blueprint for the nation—and the world. This keynote offers rare insider access to the decision-makers driving one of the most consequential transformations in the energy and digital infrastructure industries today.

Governor Mike Dunleavy will deliver “Arctic Advantage: Alaska’s Emerging Data Center Frontier,” an address outlining his vision for positioning Alaska as an emerging epicenter for AI-ready data center development. As industry leaders face increasing challenges with power constraints, cooling costs, and suitable development locations, Alaska offers a forward-thinking solution—complete with robust connectivity options and untapped land availability.

The final keynote will feature Lancium’s Michael McNamara and Dell Technologies’ David Holmes who will explore “Powering the AI Era with Future-Ready Data Centers.” Together, they will discuss how Dell’s next-generation technology and Lancium’s gigawatt-scale clean energy campuses are enabling organizations to unleash the potential of AI.
