State Senator Richardson Headlines AltaSea’s Open House

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AltaSea at the Port of Los Angeles, the nation’s leading hub for the blue economy, welcomed California State Senator Laura Richardson to campus during its fall open house. Senator Richardson, whose 35th District includes AltaSea’s campus, offered remarks on the importance of AltaSea’s innovative ocean research and its role in shaping the future of the blue economy. She praised AltaSea’s commitment to environmental protection and job creation, particularly among underserved youth.
