BTIG Franchise Sales Adds Healthcare Specialists Bruce Mackle and Dr. Sean Alyeshmerni

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BTIG announced today the appointments of Bruce Mackle as Managing Director and Sean Alyeshmerni, D.O. as Director within its Franchise Sales team. Both will focus on expanding and strengthening BTIG’s client relationships within the healthcare sector.

Bruce Mackle brings over 25 years of healthcare-dedicated financial industry experience on the sell-side, buy-side, and as an investor relations advisor. Over the course of his career at firms including Wells Fargo, UBS, and HSBC, Mr. Mackle primarily served as a healthcare trading desk analyst and a healthcare sector sales specialist. Most recently, he worked at LifeSci Advisors, a life science-focused investor relations advisory firm, managing a client portfolio of both public and pre-IPO companies. Mr. Mackle’s buy-side experience includes positions with two healthcare-dedicated funds. He began his career as a healthcare equity research analyst at Gruntal & Co. and UBS.

Prior to joining BTIG, Sean Alyeshmerni, D.O., was a Biotech Investor at CORR Capital, an emerging biotechnology-focused long/short fund. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President, Investment Banking at Citigroup, specializing in healthcare M&A and capital markets transactions. Dr. Alyeshmerni also held investment roles at Alera Partners and Ditch Plains Capital. He began his career as a physician, completing residencies in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry.
