Revelyst Appoints Naren Varatharajah as CFO

Varatharajah is a seasoned and accomplished finance professional with more than 25 years of experience who joins Revelyst after a distinguished tenure at VF Corp

PROVIDENCE, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Revelyst Inc., a collective of world-class maker brands that design and manufacture performance gear and precision technologies, today announced the appointment of Naren Varatharajah as Chief Financial Officer, effective Aug. 4, as part of a planned CFO transition. Varatharajah resides in Southern California and will be based in Revelyst’s Irvine, Calif., location, which also serves as the headquarters for Revelyst Adventure Sports.

A seasoned and accomplished finance professional with 25-plus years of experience, Varatharajah joins the company from VF Corp., having most recently led VF’s Transformation Office. Before that, he spent over 20 years with VF working in several finance roles around the world, including Global CFO for the Vans brand and CFO for the company’s Asia Pacific and India divisions.

Varatharajah has more than two decades of experience in retail and apparel businesses, plus a deep knowledge of multi-brand and multi-region operating models. He is a trusted strategic finance leader with a proven track record of driving successful transformative initiatives across complex business environments and solid functional expertise that includes strategic planning, business turnaround, business analytics, real estate, M&A, controllership and public accounting.

Varatharajah succeeds Andy Keegan, who is stepping down after 13 years with Revelyst and its predecessor companies, Vista Outdoor and ATK. He joined ATK in 2012 and held several positions of increasing leadership with ATK’s, Vista Outdoor’s and Revelyst’s finance teams. Keegan was instrumental in the years-long separation of Vista Outdoor into two standalone entities—Revelyst and The Kinetic Group. Keegan will remain with Revelyst for the remainder of August to onboard Varatharajah and ensure a smooth CFO transition.
