Infinitum Appoints Vikas Desai as Chief Commercial Officer

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Infinitum, creator of the sustainable air-core motor, today announced the appointment of Vikas Desai as Chief Commercial Officer. Vikas will oversee Infinitum’s commercial efforts and revenue growth.

Vikas brings three decades of customer-focused leadership experience to Infinitum, having built and scaled multiple global businesses across the solar energy and technology sectors. Prior to joining Infinitum, Vikas served as Chief Commercial Officer of Maxeon Solar Technologies where he oversaw the company’s commercialization strategy.

Vikas has held prior leadership roles as CEO of Powerside, CEO of EchoFirst, SVP of Flextronics, SVP at SunEdison and as General Manager at SunPower, where he successfully scaled the global distributed generation business from its inception to $1 billion in revenue within five years.
