American Express Increases Value Available to Business Platinum Card Members to More Than $2,000 – More to Come Later This Year

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Express (NYSE: AXP) announced that Business Platinum Card® Members in the U.S. have the opportunity to unlock over $2,000 in value in statement credits, including updated credits with Dell Technologies and Adobe that launched July 1, with more new benefits to come later this year. The changes come in advance of major updates to the company’s U.S. Consumer and Business Platinum Cards, which will mark American Express’ largest investment ever in a Card refresh.

Expanded Value from Key Partners

The newly announced updates for Business Platinum Card Members consist of statement credits for Dell Technologies and Adobe purchases, adding to the Card’s existing benefits like a wireless credit and valuable benefits with partners Hilton and Indeed. These benefits support critical business functions to help business owners operate more efficiently and effectively.

Travel Benefits Designed for Business Leaders

With travel playing a key role in many business strategies, the Business Platinum Card offers rich benefits for those on the move. With more airport lounge options than any other credit card issuer1, the American Express Global Lounge Collection® is available to Business Platinum Card Members. This includes access to more than 1,550 lounges worldwide – including The Centurion® Lounge network, with new locations expected to open at Haneda Airport (HND) in Tokyo and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) in Salt Lake City in 2025, and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) in New Jersey in 2026. Additional travel benefits include 10 annual visits to a Delta Sky Club when flying on qualifying flights, Airline Fee Credit, a CLEAR® Plus Credit, and a fee credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck®.

Business Platinum Card Members have exclusive benefits at over 2,600 Fine Hotels + Resorts® and The Hotel Collection properties globally. Card Members are also guaranteed 4:00 p.m. late checkout, daily breakfast, room upgrades when available, and on-property credits at 1,600 Fine Hotels + Resorts locations.

Card Options to Support Employees

Card Members can also request an Employee Business Platinum Card for an additional $350 annually per Card, which comes with access to The Centurion Lounge, 10 annual visits to a Delta Sky Club when flying on qualifying flights, and status with Marriott Bonvoy® Gold Elite Status and Hilton Honors Gold Status. There is also an Employee Business Expense Card option with no annual feewith limited benefits.

Flexible Card Features for Cash Flow Management

The Business Platinum Card offers several features to help Card Members’ companies grow, including Virtual Cards which add an extra layer of security and control, making it easier to manage vendor-specific or one-time purchases. The Card also comes with Pay Over Time, giving Card Members the option to either carry a balance with interest on eligible charges or pay the balance in full each month.
