Agilysys Adds Two Hospitality Veterans to Its Sales and Commercial Leadership Team

-- Mo Khanat joins the Americas Sales leadership team focused on business development and opportunity advancement for solutions across the Agilysys portfolio; Praveen Paul now leads sales for the Middle East and Africa --

ALPHARETTA, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading global provider of hospitality software and services, announced that hospitality industry veterans Mo Khanat and Praveen Paul have joined its Sales and Commercial leadership team, reporting to Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer Joe Youssef.

Mo Khanat joins the Americas Sales leadership team as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Khanat’s background includes more than two decades of hospitality industry experience with leading technology solution providers and as a practitioner with Novotel, a brand in Accor’s global portfolio. Mr. Khanat will lead sales teams focused on business development and opportunity advancement for solutions across the Agilysys portfolio.

Mr. Khanat has joined Agilysys after a 13-year tenure at IDeaS Revenue Solutions, a provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) revenue management systems for hoteliers and property managers. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President, Global Account Management and Consulting Services at IDeaS, leading a multi-million global annual recurring revenue portfolio comprised of more than 30,000 customers. Mr. Khanat also spent five years leading account management for online travel agency Travelocity and six years in various property-level management positions with Novotel.

Praveen Paul has joined Agilysys as Area Vice President, Middle East and Africa (MEA), based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Mr. Paul has more than 25 years of experience scaling businesses across MEA and the Asia Pacific region, most recently as Chief Operating Officer of Winsar Group, a property management system (PMS) provider based in India.

During his eight-year tenure with Winsar, Mr. Paul led a technology transformation from legacy software to a full SaaS platform, which now accounts for more than 80 percent of new sales for Winsar. Under his leadership, Winsar tripled its market presence to more than 30 countries and more than 2,200 installations before being acquired by RB Software in February 2025.
