AM Best to Host Briefing on Evolution of Cyber Insurance Market

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A panel of AM Best analysts and cyber insurance experts will discuss evolving threats in the cyber space and how companies and insurers are working together to reduce losses during an AM Best-hosted briefing scheduled for July 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. EDT.

Panelists include Oliver Brew, cyber practice leader, Lockton Re; Bob Parisi, head of cyber solutions, Munich Re; Fred Eslami, associate director, and Christopher Graham, senior industry research analyst, both of AM Best.

A recent Best’s Market Segment Report on the cyber insurance market found that underwriting strategies are responding to the improved sophistication of cyber-attacks through increased caution, as evidenced by a first-ever annual decline in cyber premiums. During the briefing, the panel will also discuss the future trends in cyber insurance, including how to expand the market, pricing strategies and the latest in underwriting tactics.
