Creative Solutions in Healthcare Acquires Five Texas Skilled Nursing Facilities

FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Creative Solutions in Healthcare, the largest skilled nursing operator in Texas, has acquired five skilled nursing facilities from Diversicare, effective July 1. This acquisition brings the company’s statewide footprint to 174 properties, including 153 skilled nursing locations.

The newly acquired facilities are located in Houston, Lockhart, Lampasas, Yorktown, and Luling. Each location is planned to begin substantial upgrades to infrastructure and resident services.

Creative Solutions has confirmed that all resident mattresses, 475 in total, will be replaced as part of a broader effort to improve comfort and quality. Additional renovations will include updated furnishings, and interior upgrades.

Creative Solutions has been gearing up for the acquisition since the official announcement made in mid-May. The company has arranged to bring food service and housekeeping teams in-house, ending outsourced contracts to strengthen quality control and accountability.

Teams from various departments worked tirelessly to ensure a seamless integration of CSNHC’s standards into these buildings. From housekeeping and dietary to clinical and operations, every aspect of care received meticulous attention to uphold CSNHC’s commitment to excellence. Prior to the official transition date, CSNHC’s culinary team was on-site, transforming dietary operations into Creative Solutions Kitchens, promising residents a culinary experience that reflects CSNHC’s commitment to innovation and quality from the very first bite. Additionally, CSNHC’s White Glove Inspectors conducted extensive training sessions with housekeeping and laundry teams, instilling the ‘Creative Solutions Clean’ mindset in these facilities.

Along with adopting Creative Solutions quality standards, some changes also include additional online resources. The facilities will soon offer a payment portal and the Connected Care Center, a resident portal where authorized users can access real-time health information, enhancing communication and transparency in care delivery.
