Berkshire Partners' Elizabeth Bride and Katie Ragan Honored in GrowthCap's 2025 “Top Women Leaders in Growth Investing”

Leaders recognized for their stellar experience with both investors and portfolio company CEOs

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Berkshire Partners is pleased to announce Managing Director Elizabeth (“Liz”) Bride and Principal Katie Ragan have been named to GrowthCap’s “Top Women Leaders in Growth Investing” 2025 list. The award recognizes women who have made outstanding contributions to growth investing, demonstrating expertise in private capital markets, operational excellence, and portfolio management.

Liz was promoted to Managing Director, Investor Relations, in December 2024, and currently serves as a key member of Berkshire Partners’ Investor Relations team. She has played a central role in developing and executing the firm's investor relations strategy, primarily focusing on Stockbridge, Berkshire’s public equity fund, while also making significant contributions to the private equity platform. Liz is also actively involved in recruiting and talent development for Berkshire’s investor relations team and serves as Co-Chair of the Development Committee at Boston Collegiate School. Prior to Berkshire, Liz was Chief Operating Officer at Guidepost Growth Equity and held several positions in investor relations at Bain Capital. She holds a B.A. from Hamilton College and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Katie Ragan is a Principal on Berkshire Partners’ Technology & Communications investment team. Since joining the firm as Vice President in 2021, and quickly rising to Principal, Katie has played a key role in investing in and supporting high-growth software and tech-enabled services companies. She currently serves on the Boards of Opensignal and UPSTACK, and has worked closely with other portfolio companies such as PDQ, AHEAD, and Forcura/Medalogix. Previously, Katie was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company and began her career on the economic analysis team at the Bank of Canada. She holds a B.A. from McGill University, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and an M.P.P. from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
