Forbright Bank Announces Leadership Changes for the Healthcare Lending Group Including the Promotion of Jonathan Grenier to President of Healthcare Lending

CHEVY CHASE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Forbright Bank is pleased to announce that Jonathan Grenier has been promoted to President of Healthcare Lending. Grenier previously served as a Managing Director of Forbright’s Healthcare Lending division where he has worked since 2016. In that role, he co-led the Bank’s healthcare originations and underwriting where he provided vital access to capital to hundreds of skilled nursing and post-acute facilities, seniors housing, and behavioral health providers.

“Jonathan has a deep knowledge of the healthcare landscape, and his long-standing track record of delivering innovative results for our clients make him the ideal candidate to lead our Healthcare Lending team,” said Don Cole, Chief Executive Officer at Forbright Bank.

As President of the Healthcare Lending group, Grenier will lead a team of experienced professionals. Today, Forbright announced that Jared Richards will lead Healthcare originations and underwriting in his role as Managing Director. Brent Hodges will lead portfolio management in his position as Director of Healthcare Lending, and Jon Camps will continue to lead all HUD Lending in his role as Managing Director. Jim Pieczynski will continue to serve as a Senior Advisor with the Healthcare Lending team.

“I’m honored to step into this role and am excited to continue building a team with deep expertise and a client-first approach,” said Grenier. “Healthcare is an ever-changing space, and our team is uniquely positioned to help our clients navigate what’s next.”

Grenier’s promotion comes after a strong start to the year for Forbright Bank’s Healthcare Lending division. The team is on track to close more than $500 million in the first half of 2025 across loans for acquisition, recapitalization, working capital, and HUD financing for nationwide healthcare providers.

Prior to joining Forbright Bank, Grenier held various roles at EY and M&T Bank. He is a graduate of Amherst College in Massachusetts.
