California American Water Completes Acquisition of Mesa Del Sol Water System

PACIFIC GROVE, Ca.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--California American Water has acquired the Mesa Del Sol water system in the Corral de Tierra area of Salinas. The system was acquired following a project to physically interconnect the Mesa del Sol system with California American Water’s Toro Park system to solve water quality challenges in Mesa Del Sol. The acquisition adds 15 new water connections to the company’s current customer base, which already includes approximately 40,000 connections on the Monterey Peninsula and other parts of Monterey County.
