Travelers Introduces Quantum Yacht 2.0

Enhanced product provides customizable coverages and a simpler quoting experience for agents

HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV) today announced the launch of Quantum Yacht 2.0, which offers personalized coverage options and a redesigned, user-friendly quoting platform for agents.

“The refreshed Quantum Yacht 2.0 is designed specifically with yacht owners in mind, offering comprehensive and customizable coverage options tailored to help meet each customer’s unique needs and budget,” said Deidre LeBlanc, Vice President of Specialty Lines for Personal Insurance at Travelers. “The easy-to-use quote and issue system also make this a seamless experience for agents, providing them with even more tools to grow their business and enhance customer relationships.”

Travelers defines a yacht as a watercraft 27 feet and longer. Base policies include coverage for salvage and wreck removal, uninsured/underinsured boaters, personal property, medical payments, emergency towing reimbursement, fuel spills, dinghy and more.

Additional features of Quantum Yacht 2.0 include:

  • Loss Settlement Options: Subject to eligibility, customers can opt for agreed value or actual cash value when managing yacht replacement.
  • Optional Towing Services: Travelers offers TravAssist Boatside® Towing, an endorsement that provides emergency services while afloat.
  • Expert Support: Policies will provide Travelers’ best-in-class services, including a team of dedicated marine underwriting and claims professionals.
  • Potential Savings: Discounts are available for a variety of factors, including paid in full, multi-policy, loss-free and safety education options.

Quantum Yacht 2.0 is currently available in Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and Virginia, with additional states rolling out in the coming months.
