PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As the racing world gears up for the Indianapolis 500, Aramark Sports + Entertainment (Aramark; NYSE: ARMK) and the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) are introducing a robust slate of new menu items and offerings to further enhance the race day experience for guests visiting the track. Now, in their second year as partners, Aramark and IMS are collaborating to showcase a vibrant selection of new food offerings, featuring a variety of local vendors, ensuring every moment of race day is filled with unforgettable flavors and hospitality.

Fans can expect to enjoy a mix of race day favorites alongside exciting new offerings across the Speedway’s concession areas. At Refreshments Express in Pagoda Plaza, guests can find a new specialty item daily throughout May and get back to the action faster than ever:

Refreshments Express Specialty Items

• Pretzel Brat: bratwurst, soft pretzel, pale ale beer cheese
• BBQ Pork Wheels: parmesan garlic wheels, mozzarella & cheddar cheese, smoked pork shoulder, and sweet barbecue sauce
• Buffalo TOTCHOS: buffalo chicken, baked tater tots, nacho cheese sauce, pico de gallo, and ranch
• Pork Belly Potato Chips: sweet chili sauce, Yum Yum Sauce, green onion, and sesame slaw
• King Corn Dog: jalapeno & cheddar bratwurst, four onion corn breading, whole grain, and bourbon honey mustard
• Circle City Meatball Hero: Portuguese milk roll, beef meatballs, marinara, roasted peppers & onions, and provolone cheese

Midwest Tastes

Always looking for ways to incorporate local flavor and cuisine, Aramark and IMS will welcome a diverse range of local vendors to add a taste of the Midwest to the hospitality experience.

Abbiocco Pizzeria and Mambo’s Cheesesteak Grill, known for their delicious pizza and cheesesteaks, will be serving up these Indiana favorites at The Garage Food Hall and the Amp. Ardy’s Concessions, a long-time staple at the track, returns to offer its signature kabobs and gyros. Additionally, Nelson's BBQ, an Indiana staple, will be offering its mouthwatering, slow-cooked barbecue to keep fans fueled throughout the day.

Spark Coffee, located just down the road on Main Street in Speedway, Indiana, brings a hyper-local touch to the track with its freshly brewed coffee available for the first time at the track’s Museum Café, while another Speedway, Indiana hometown restaurant CheChori will serve up its Argentinian Empanadas on race day.

In addition to the local Indiana flare, guests will be treated to cuisine from vendors located throughout the Midwest including cheese curds from Curds & Cakes (Minnesota), Boba tea from Hello Boba (Chicago), a variety of offerings from TMC Culinary Creations (Chicago), and Boylan’s Steak-on-a-Stick, a traveling vendor with a long-standing reputation of serving race fans at the country’s biggest events.

For guests taking in the race-day atmosphere from a premium suite, Aramark will offer a variety of elevated culinary delights that will match the thrill on the track. With various package options available, guests can savor dishes such as Heirloom Tomato Salad with Ciliegine Mozzarella, Smoked Pork Loin with mustard maple glaze, and Scalloped Potatoes with sweet leeks and Gruyere cheese. Other options include a Summer Green Salad with arugula, mixed greens, strawberries, and pomegranate vinaigrette, Provence Chicken Breast with olive oil cured tomatoes and olive relish, and Mustard Rubbed Filet with poached shallots, carrot salsa, and bone marrow demi-glace.
