BerryDunn’s 2025 Healthcare Leadership Summit Tackles Urgent Industry Challenges

The firm’s healthcare finance experts to share practical solutions to issues facing healthcare executives for the third year running

PORTLAND, Maine--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BerryDunn, a full-service accounting, tax, and consulting firm, will host its third annual Healthcare Leadership Summit on May 14, 2025. The virtual half-day event will focus on critical topics of importance to healthcare executives, ranging from staffing shortages and compliance issues to Medicare reimbursement and leveraging AI for efficiencies.

As part of BerryDunn’s ongoing commitment to healthcare industry leadership, this year’s Summit brings together a diverse team of finance experts to deliver practical solutions for the challenges facing providers across the continuum of care—from hospitals and community health centers to senior living facilities.

“Healthcare organizations today are navigating more complex challenges than ever before,” said Tammy Brunetti, leader of BerryDunn’s Healthcare Practice Group and Senior Living Consultant. “Our goal is to provide the insights and strategies leaders need to innovate, adapt, and succeed. The Healthcare Leadership Summit is designed to do exactly that—offering forward-thinking perspectives and actionable guidance to help organizations thrive in a rapidly changing healthcare ecosystem.”

BerryDunn’s annual Summit got its start as two separate industry-focused events designed to deliver thought leadership to hospitals and senior living organizations. In 2022, the firm launched its first Healthcare Leadership Summit, a signature event offering high-level programming geared to both new and experienced leaders in the field.

Lisa Trundy-Whitten, a Principal in BerryDunn’s Healthcare Practice Group and leader of the firm’s Senior Living Practice, said, “Summit attendees will have an opportunity to hear from healthcare finance experts with specialized industry knowledge. They’ll come away with valuable insights and strategies aimed at helping their organizations maximize revenue, minimize risk, and improve operations, while, most importantly, facilitating positive outcomes.”

  • This year’s event kicks off with an in-depth analysis of BDO’s 2025 CFO Outlook Survey by Brad Boyd, Principal and healthcare consulting practice leader at BDO. Brad will explore the key trends reshaping today’s healthcare landscape and share industry-specific insights.
  • BerryDunn Principal Denny Roberge will moderate a panel discussion on key topics such as regulatory changes, margin pressure, and innovative approaches industry leaders are taking to reduce risks and improve results.
  • A second panel discussion focused on AI will be moderated by BerryDunn Principal Chris Mouradian and will explore how organizations are assessing ROI for AI initiatives, metrics and methods for evaluating success, governance models, and future trends.

BerryDunn’s Healthcare Practice Group actively engages with national associations and committees to help address industry challenges. The firm serves a full spectrum of healthcare organizations, including community health centers, rural clinics, hospitals, senior living facilities, home health and hospice providers, medical and dental practices, specialty providers, and state veterans’ homes.
