Keyfactor Recognized in 2025 Global InfoSec Awards for Pioneering Quantum-Resilient PKI-as-a-Service

Third Consecutive Win Underscores Keyfactor’s Leadership and Unparalleled PKI Expertise as Quantum Threat Looms Closer

CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Keyfactor, the industry leader in digital trust for modern enterprises, today announced it has been named a winner of the Global InfoSec Award in the PKI-as-a-Service (PKIaaS) category by Cyber Defense Magazine (CDM). This significant recognition marks Keyfactor’s fourth consecutive year as a Global InfoSec Award recipient and third straight win in the PKIaaS category.

“Quantum computing poses a profound risk to today’s cryptographic infrastructure, with the potential to render widely used encryption algorithms obsolete. In August, NIST took a major step forward by finalizing three post-quantum cryptographic algorithms to help organizations begin replacing outdated encryption methods,” said Jordan Rackie, CEO, Keyfactor. “During this time, Keyfactor has doubled-down on its commitment to build the foundational technologies required to help secure organizations as they begin transitioning. We’re proud to be leading the charge in helping enterprises prepare for this seismic shift, providing the technology, tools, and expertise needed to secure digital identities in the quantum era.”

Over the past year, Keyfactor has invested heavily in post-quantum cryptography (PQC) readiness, launching new innovations in Keyfactor EJBCA Enterprise and Keyfactor SignServer Enterprise that allow organizations to issue both quantum-ready PKI certificates and existing PKI certificates from a single environment. These hybrid certificates enable real-world testing, gradual rollout, and backward compatibility—critical steps for organizations beginning the PQC migration.

To accelerate enterprise readiness, Keyfactor also introduced PQC Lab, a free, SaaS-based sandbox preconfigured to issue quantum-resilient certificates. The first-of-its-kind offering makes it easier for developers, IT, and security teams to experiment with quantum-safe cryptography without added cost or complexity—an important step forward as organizations cite a lack of skilled personnel and limited resources as major barriers to PQC adoption.

“Keyfactor embodies three major features we judges look for to become winners: understanding tomorrow’s threats, today, providing a cost-effective solution and innovating in unexpected ways that can help mitigate cyber risk and get one step ahead of the next breach,” said Gary S. Miliefsky, Publisher of Cyber Defense Magazine.
