Highly Regarded Trial Attorney and Former Federal Prosecutor Edward J. Loya, Jr. Joins Dorsey in Dallas

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Edward Loya has joined Dorsey & Whitney LLP as a Partner in the Commercial Litigation group in Dallas, the international law firm announced today. A seasoned lawyer and former federal prosecutor, Edward will serve as the Head of the Trial Practice Group in Dorsey’s Dallas office.

Edward focuses his practice on business disputes and white collar civil and criminal enforcement matters. He has represented companies and executives across many industries and in different forums including federal and state courts and arbitration tribunals. He has extensive experience representing clients in matters involving the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, and other federal and state law enforcement agencies. He served as a federal prosecutor in the Public Integrity Section of the Criminal Division at the DOJ in Washington, D.C. Edward comes to Dorsey from Epstein Becker & Green, P.C., where he was a Partner and a highly regarded leader in the Dallas legal community.

Edward received his J.D. from Stanford Law School and his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego. He served as a law clerk to federal judges on the Tenth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
