Aviation Capital Group Realigns OEM Coverage Team

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aviation Capital Group LLC (ACG), a premier global full-service aircraft asset manager, is pleased to announce the realignment of its Original Equipment Manufacturing (“OEM”) group and the elevation of Tom Habelmann to Head of OEM Operations and Helen Zhu to Assistant Vice President, OEM Strategy & Counsel.

In his newly expanded role, Tom will be responsible for OEM Operations, leading the team managing the evaluation, selection and purchasing of modern aircraft for ACG’s portfolio, as well as the New Aircraft Management and BFE Procurement teams for new delivery aircraft. In her new role, Helen will be responsible for OEM contractual engagement and will support Tom on all OEM strategic initiatives. In an organizational re-alignment, Tom and Helen, along with the OEM Operations group will now sit within the Strategic Investment Department, reporting into Rob Downes, Chief Investment Officer (“CIO”) at ACG.

Broader OEM engagement for ACG will be co-led by Rob Downes and Carter White, Chief Commercial Officer (“CCO”) at ACG. As CCO, Carter will be responsible for OEM relationships, while as CIO, Rob will be responsible for OEM strategy, operations and analysis.
