Nation's Fastest Major ISP Expands in Illinois

EVANSVILLE, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Metronet, recognized by PCMag as the fastest internet service provider in the nation, is expanding its 100% fiber-optic network to Bolingbrook, Ill. This privately funded multimillion-dollar investment will bring high-speed, reliable internet to local residents and businesses, offering symmetrical speeds of up to five gigabits per second for homes and up to ten gigabits per second for businesses.

As crews begin work, residents can expect to see Metronet construction teams in the area. The company will notify residents at least 30 days before work begins through mailed letters, yard signs, and other communications. Metronet’s teams will be easily identifiable with company-branded vehicles and ID badges.
