Dr. Alpesh Patel Joins AZ Gastro Care in Phoenix

Dr. Patel brings a wealth of expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, but has formed a keen interest in colorectal cancer, optimal polyp detection techniques, reflux, and irritable bowel syndrome. Board-certified in gastroenterology and hepatology, Dr. Patel is known for understanding the patient experience in the context of their lives. He focuses on crafting efficient and customized healthcare treatment plans with an emphasis on excellent clinical outcomes.

Dr. Patel earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He received a medical degree from East Tennessee State University’s James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee, and completed an internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.
