SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gigamon, a leading deep observability company, has named Lisa Harrup Mieuli chief marketing officer (CMO) to oversee global marketing strategy, demand generation, and brand awareness. The new appointment advances the company’s growth strategy amid an evolving cybersecurity landscape fueled by AI, as global demand for the Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline accelerates. According to a recent 650 Group report, Gigamon is recognized as a leading vendor in the growing deep observability market, holding 55 percent market share in 2024.

Lisa’s leadership in both brand building and demand generation will enhance connections with digital-first customers and ensure the Gigamon go-to-market strategy is aligned with customer needs and company growth goals.

With today’s rapidly-evolving threat landscape, deep observability has become mission critical for securing and managing complex IT infrastructure. In the 2024 Hybrid Cloud Security Survey of more than 1,000 global Security and IT leaders, 84 percent agreed that deep observability is a foundational element of cloud security. The Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline helps organizations secure and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure by efficiently delivering network-derived telemetry directly to cloud, security, and traditional observability tools, helping to eliminate blind spots, optimize network traffic, and increase existing tool efficiency by up to 90 percent.

As newly-appointed CMO, Mieuli will oversee the global marketing organization, reporting directly to President and CEO Shane Buckley. Under her leadership, the company will strengthen its global brand by aligning marketing programs in ways that create new revenue-generating opportunities and address growing cross-industry demand for its deep observability pipeline.

Mieuli brings more than two decades of marketing leadership experience to her new role. She joined Gigamon as vice president of worldwide growth marketing in 2024 and most recently served as interim CMO. Prior to Gigamon, Mieuli was vice president of marketing at Tenable, vice president of global field and channel marketing at Nimble Storage and spent 13 years at Symantec in various marketing leadership roles spanning brand and demand.
