Jonathan Rende Joins Checkmarx as Chief Product Officer

Technology industry veteran brings decades of product management and engineering leadership

With his extensive leadership experience and deep understanding of software product development, AI and machine learning, Rende is uniquely positioned to offer strong vision and direction as the company continues its journey of innovation in application security.

Rende is recognized for his accomplishments while heading product development teams at Mercury Software, a leader in software testing that was acquired by HP Software for $4.5 billion. Following the acquisition, he grew the testing business from $700 million to over $1 billion via organic growth and security acquisitions. For the past eight years, Rende served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Products at PagerDuty, the leading enterprise cloud platform for AI operations. There he led the continued scaling of the product and design organization to deliver the next generation of PagerDuty’s platform and products, leveraging machine learning and AI organically as well as by acquisition.
