The companies on this list show a remarkable rate of growth across all industries in the Northeast. Between 2021 and 2023, these private companies had a median growth rate of 100 percent; by 2023, they’d also added 9,114 jobs and $6.7 billion to the region’s economy. Arch’s strong growth makes it a natural fit for the list. During this timeframe, Arch has grown by 84 percent, as it continues to scale its commercial and residential businesses. In 2023, Arch acquired Paintzen the world’s leading technology platform for instant pricing and service booking. The company’s technology strategy is core to its next level growth initiatives.

Methodology

The 2025 Inc. Regionals are ranked according to percentage revenue growth over two years. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2021. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2023. (Since then, a number of companies on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2021 is $100,000; the minimum for 2023 is $1 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons.
