A former commerce technology analyst at Forrester, Cevallos will lead Jumpmind’s efforts to align product strategy and innovation with customer requirements, strengthen customer relationships and anticipate market trends. At Forrester, Cevallos researched POS software, associate empowerment and consumer expectations for the in-store experience. She also guided Fortune 500 companies on their technology buying decisions and retail initiatives.

“As Jumpmind’s growth accelerates, Lauren will play a key role ensuring our long-term technology and product vision and innovation are centered around customer needs,” said Jumpmind CEO and President Joe Corbin. “We’re excited to have her join the team at this pivotal moment in the transformation of the retail store.”

Cevallos joins Jumpmind at a time when demand for its mobile POS technology is growing rapidly. Jumpmind, used by retailers such as American Eagle Outfitters, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Petco and The Vitamin Shoppe, recently expanded its global footprint with new operations in EMEA and the Middle East, following the successful launch of Landmark Retail, one of the largest retail conglomerates in the region.

The technology provider also launched the Jumpmind Cloud in January, offering retailers a near-effortless way to take Jumpmind’s advanced POS and unified promotion solutions operational in a matter of days.

“Jumpmind has a fantastic product, and I believe strongly in the company’s vision to transform the store,” said Cevallos. “The care and integrity the Jumpmind team brings to working with clients is a key differentiator in the sector. I’m excited to join the team, and I look forward to amplifying the transformational work Jumpmind is doing with major retailers.”
