Pregnancy Outcomes According to Timing of Expansion and Vitrification Among 967 Transfers of Single Cryopreserved Non-Biopsied Blastocyst Stage In Vitro Fertilized (IVF) Embryos

This study evaluated the viability of cryopreserved blastocysts that did not undergo preimplantation genetic testing, focusing on the timing of blastocyst expansion and vitrification. The research concluded that blastocysts expanding and vitrified by Day 5 post-oocyte retrieval had significantly higher success rates compared to those developing later.

Post-Hatching Versus Pre-Hatching Blastocyst Biopsy for Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) Is Unexpectedly Associated with Reduced Implantation

Findings indicated that biopsies performed after spontaneous hatching may reduce embryo viability and implantation potential, suggesting a preference for pre-hatching biopsies in clinical practice.

In Vitro Fertilization Outcomes in Physicians Versus Non-Physicians

Presented and co-authored by Dr. Jasmine Eliwa, a resident from Fertility Associates of Memphis's partnership with the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center, this study compared IVF outcomes between female physicians and non-physicians. Despite physicians undergoing IVF at a later age, results showed similar outcomes and anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) levels across both groups, suggesting that professional demands may not adversely affect fertility treatment success.

GnRH Agonist Only Triggers Are as Effective as Dual Triggers in the Progestin Suppressed IVF Protocol

This research evaluated the efficacy of gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRH-a) only triggers versus dual triggers in progestin-suppressed IVF protocols. The study concluded that GnRH-a only triggers are as effective as dual triggers, providing a safer alternative by reducing the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS).

Post Trigger Labs Can Be Interpreted Similarly in Oral Progestin Suppressed IVF Protocol

This study examined the interpretation of post-trigger luteinizing hormone (LH) and progesterone levels in oral progestin-suppressed IVF protocols compared to GnRH antagonist protocols. Findings suggest that despite variations in hormone levels, both protocols yield similarly adequate values, supporting the broader implementation of oral progestin protocols in clinical practice.
