Infleqtion Unveils Contextual Machine Learning (CML) at GTC 2025, Powering AI Breakthroughs with NVIDIA CUDA-Q and Quantum-Inspired Algorithms

CML Unlocks AI’s Full Potential with Enhanced Pattern Recognition, Prediction, and Real-Time Decision-Making for Defense, Autonomous Systems, and Next-Gen Computing

BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Infleqtion, a global leader in quantum information technologies, today unveiled Contextual Machine Learning (CML) at GTC 2025. CML is a novel AI approach that allows machine learning models to process information over longer time periods and from multiple sources simultaneously. This enhances AI’s ability to recognize patterns in sensor data, predict trends, and make real-time decisions with greater accuracy.

By implementing CML on NVIDIA A100 GPUs using the NVIDIA CUDA-Q platform, Infleqtion is increasing the ability of AI to process and interpret data from multiple sources at once, improving real-time decision-making for defense and autonomous systems.

By implementing CML on NVIDIA A100 GPUs using the NVIDIA CUDA-Q platform, Infleqtion is increasing the ability of AI to process and interpret data from multiple sources at once, improving real-time decision-making for defense, autonomous systems, and other critical applications. CML also provides a pathway from today’s AI to future quantum-powered machine learning, ensuring long-term scalability and performance.

"There is a symbiotic relationship between AI supercomputing and quantum computing,” said Sam Stanwyck, Group Product Manager for Quantum Computing at NVIDIA. "Infleqtion’s work demonstrates how NVIDIA’s CUDA-Q platform is bringing accelerated computing to quantum workflows, and how these workflows are finding application reaching beyond quantum computing.”

CML builds on Infleqtion’s work at the intersection of GPU and QPU hardware, including its recent breakthrough in quantum materials design, which leveraged NVIDIA CUDA-Q to accelerate next-generation material discovery. Now, Infleqtion is applying these techniques to CML, bringing quantum-inspired AI to real-world scenarios across defense, energy, and autonomous systems.

Expanding AI’s Potential with Contextual Learning

Many AI models—such as transformer models—struggle to track patterns over time, making it difficult to analyze streaming data, predict future events, or combine information from multiple sources. Infleqtion’s CML approach, inspired by a property of quantum mechanics known as contextuality, enhances AI’s ability to process information over longer timeframes and across different data types, improving accuracy, adaptability, and efficiency.

“AI is processing more data in real-time than ever before, from tracking multiple data sources to making split-second decisions in dynamic environments,” said Pranav Gokhale, General Manager of Computing at Infleqtion. “CML helps AI analyze larger sets of information over longer-context timeframes, improving its ability to detect patterns and adapt to changing conditions. By optimizing this approach using accelerated computing, we’re building the foundation for future AI solutions powered by quantum computing."

US Navy and Army Testing Validate CML’s Real-World Potential

Alongside the debut of the CML technology, Infleqtion has been awarded a Navy AI contract for application to sensor data streams. The Navy project, entitled QuIRC, applies Infleqtion’s CML-powered AI to enhance real-time RF signal processing, improving situational awareness, security, and operational efficiency in both current RF systems and next-generation Quantum RF sensors.

Infleqtion also won first place out of 133 companies in the US Army’s xTechScalable AI competition for SAPIENT: Secure AI for PNT. The SAPIENT platform is a multi-sensor fusion system that improves navigation and intelligence capabilities. By leveraging the CML framework, SAPIENT can process large sensor data streams with small models, enabling deployment to edge GPUs at scale powered by NVIDIA Jetson™.
