With Paint Season Kicking Off, Arch Painting Announces Top Residential Paint Colors

Grays Rule the Day, Highlighting a Desire for Neutral Palettes as Homeowners Start to Improve Property Look for Summer 2025 and Beyond

WOBURN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Arch Painting, kicks off the Spring and Summer painting season by announcing the top trends in residential paint colors. And the current favorite may – or may not – surprise. Based on a survey of customers who were serviced nationwide by Arch Painting’s network of 800 painting crews, we found that customers overwhelmingly chose a neutral color palette, selecting gray tones for their interior paint jobs.

Gray is a neutral color that creates a calming effect. It pairs well with other colors and can be used to balance the design of a room. Gray walls can make a room feel brighter giving it a larger appearance. Neutral colors like gray tones are versatile in that they work with many interior design choices. Furniture, throw rugs and window treatments in bright colors can complement vs. compete with a neutral tone wall color.
