Grange Insurance’s Tim Cunningham Wins 2025 ORBIE Award

OhioCIO's ORBIE Award recognizes those who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Grange Insurance Chief Information Officer Tim Cunningham received the 2025 Ohio ORBIE Award in the large corporate category from the OhioCIO Leadership Association, which recognizes executives who have demonstrated excellence in technology leadership.

Cunningham is responsible for Grange’s technology and information operations and strategy with the goal of delivering excellent customer service through innovative solutions. Under Cunningham’s leadership, Grange has transformed its technological environment to be flexible, scalable and adaptable. Cunningham’s stewardship has allowed Grange to establish middleware and cloud strategies, transform several core systems, improve data storage and analytics capabilities, build a best-in-class cyber security environment, establish artificial intelligence governance and launch digital and innovation initiatives.

Cunningham joined Grange Insurance in 2016. He is a veteran IT executive specializing in strategic planning and execution. He has held technology leadership positions, primarily in the financial services industry. Cunningham earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, with a major in Information Systems.

In addition to his exemplary career, Cunningham currently serves on several non-profit boards in Central Ohio, including as Board Chair for the Central Ohio Alzheimer’s Association and as an Advisory Board member for the Reeb Center.
