Cushman & Wakefield Expands Leadership Team With the Appointment of Tom McDonnell as Executive Regional Director for the Northwest Region

McDonnell will also serve as Head of Americas Office Agency Leasing

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cushman & Wakefield announced today the appointment of Tom McDonnell as Executive Regional Director to lead the firm’s Northwest Region, which includes Northern California, Oregon and Washington. Based in San Francisco, McDonnell will report to Victoria Malkin, President of Americas Markets.

In his new leadership position, McDonnell will oversee strategic growth initiatives across the region, focusing on talent recruitment and retention, business development and fostering collaboration across Cushman & Wakefield’s service lines to enhance client outcomes.

In addition to leading the Northwest Region, McDonnell will also serve as the Head of Americas Office Agency Leasing. In this capacity, he will drive strategic client engagement, spearhead business development opportunities, and implement best practices across the firm’s Office Agency Leasing platform.

McDonnell joins Cushman & Wakefield from Shorenstein, where he served as National Leasing Director, overseeing the firm’s 20 million-square-foot portfolio across 18 major U.S. markets. Throughout his 20-year tenure, he successfully arranged more than 600 lease agreements totaling over $1 billion. Before his time at Shorenstein, McDonnell was with Cushman & Wakefield in San Francisco, specializing in tenant and landlord representation.
