AM Best to Co-Sponsor and Participate at 2025 Emerging Leaders Conference

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AM Best will co-sponsor, participate and be recognized at the 7th annual Emerging Leaders Conference, which acknowledges high-performing individuals and provides professional training to develop the next generation of insurance industry leaders. The event, which will take place Feb. 2-4, 2025, in Tampa, FL, is hosted jointly with the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA) and the Insurance Careers Movement.

Three individuals from AM Best will be honored as emerging leaders in the insurance industry at the annual event: Erik Miller, director; Greg Dickerson; director; and Associate Director John Kane. Miller oversees a team of analysts in AM Best’s Life and Health rating division, with a focus on rating complex U.S. life/annuity companies. Dickerson manages a ratings portfolio for a diverse group of domestic and multinational P/C (re)insurers, including global reinsurers and major writers of commercial lines business. Kane oversees a team of software developers, with a focus on application programming interfaces (APIs), news publications and internal data systems.

Additionally, Holzberger will join a panel discussion on Monday, Feb. 3, at 9:20 a.m. (EST), titled, “Leading in a Dynamic Era and the Future of Insurance.” Joining Holzberger on the panel will be Jessica Hanna, senior vice president, public affairs, APCIA; and Jeffrey O’Shaughnessy, president, portfolio risk solutions, HSB.

The Insurance Careers Movement is an industrywide initiative designed to raise awareness of the diverse career options that risk management and insurance offer, and AM Best is actively participating in the movement to address the industry’s critical talent gap issue. The Insurance Careers Movement has grown to more than 1,000 different insurance carriers, companies, media organizations and third-party vendors from around the globe.
