Iberdrola and Avangrid Reaffirm Commitment to Executing the Investment Plan by 2030, Helping Achieve President Trump’s Priority of American Energy Dominance

ORANGE, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Iberdrola and Avangrid, Inc., today announced that Iberdrola and Avangrid received an invitation to the Inauguration of President Donald J. Trump in Washington, D.C. As a leading energy company, Iberdrola and Avangrid serve more than 3.3 million homes and business customers in major metropolitan areas, through its eight electric and natural gas companies in New York and New England, and operates energy generation facilities in 23 states across the U.S. Iberdrola and Avangrid were also invited to several events to engage with congressional and federal leaders.

With electric demand in the United States projected to grow by as much as 16% by 2030, Iberdrola and Avangrid are demonstrating the need for critical investments in transmission, distribution, and grid expansion, modernization, and resilience.
