Cambium Assessment Receives Ed-Fi Assessment Outcomes API for Data Standard Suite 3 Certification

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Cambium Assessment, Inc., a Cambium Learning Group brand and the leading provider of innovative digital assessments for K-12 in more than half of U.S. states, announced it has completed all requirements for the Ed-Fi Assessment Outcomes API for Data Standard Suite 3 Certification. This certification showcases Cambium Assessment's commitment to meeting API and data mapping standards, outlined by the Ed-Fi Alliance, to ensure educator and student success. During the 2023-2024 school year alone, Cambium Assessment administered 124.2 million online tests, including formative, interim, summative, progress monitoring and through-year assessments.

Obtaining this certification enables seamless data sharing in education, ensuring accurate data, smooth integration with tools, and compliance with local and state rules. By adhering to the Ed-Fi Data Standard, Cambium Assessment can reduce data silos among different educational entities, creating a cohesive technology environment and providing educators with a succinct way to help their students succeed.

“As educators work tirelessly to ensure student success, we hope to make their jobs a little easier by providing a way for data to be seamlessly transferred between systems through our adhesion to the Ed-Fi Data Standard,” said Steve Kromer, president of Cambium Assessment. “The opportunity to inform instruction and critical decision-making with high-quality standards-aligned outcome data is vital to student success. I’m very proud of my team for the work they’ve done to ensure these standards are met, providing us with the opportunity to support educators behind the scenes.”

“Cambium Assessment’s dedication to achieving this certification speaks to their commitment to accuracy, integration, and setting new standards for educational data excellence,” said Sean Casey, director of vendor partnerships, Ed-Fi Alliance.
