Latino Community Foundation Supports Frontline Organizations at Critical Time for Immigrant Rights

Grants Will Support Six Key Organizations Working to Protect Latino Immigrant Communities across California

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In anticipation of a national, political landscape hostile to vulnerable, immigrant communities, the Latino Community Foundation (LCF) announces strategic capacity grants to six frontline immigrant rights grassroots organizations across California, enabling them to prepare for and respond to emerging challenges.

These grants are part of LCF's ongoing commitment to strengthening and supporting grassroots organizations on the frontlines of defending immigrant rights, advocating for fair and equitable policies centered on our shared humanity, and building long-term power within Latino communities. Funded through LCF’s Latino Power Fund, these grants are an investment in real-time opportunities to drive and protect a multi-racial democracy where Latinos – and all marginalized communities – have the power to shape their own destinies.

Following the results of the 2024 Presidential election, LCF announced its latest $10 million fundraising goal for the Latino Power Fund, an initiative to organize and build long-term power within Latino communities. These resources serve as a vital support for grassroots leaders advancing justice and creating pathways to opportunity. Through this fund, LCF makes sustained investments in civic leadership, movement-building, and nonprofit infrastructure —essential areas where communities heal, rebuild, and grow stronger. To date, the Latino Power Fund has invested over $9 million over 249 grants to unique orgs and leveraged over $750 million in federal resources.
