Jason Passwaters Honored on D CEO Dallas 500 List

Intel 471 CEO and co-founder recognized among the most influential business leaders in North Texas

WILMINGTON, Del.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Intel 471, the premier provider of cyber threat intelligence (CTI) solutions across the globe, announced today that Jason Passwaters, CEO of Intel 471, was recognized by D CEO on the Dallas 500 list among the most significant and influential business leaders in the Dallas region.

“It’s an honor to be included on the Dallas 500 list among other leaders in the area making an impact on the thriving business landscape in Dallas," said Jason Passwaters, CEO and co-founder, Intel 471. “I’m a cybersecurity and intelligence practitioner at heart and have leveraged that experience to anticipate challenges and opportunities that lead to business success. I’m excited to be part of this growing community as we continue to propel Intel 471 forward in the cybersecurity space.”

Passwaters is a proud 12-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and has an extensive background in cybersecurity and intelligence. Prior to co-founding Intel 471, he led the construction of the global research department at Dallas-based iSIGHT Partners (now part of Google/Mandiant), tracked down some of the world’s most sophisticated cybercriminals and state-actors in federal law enforcement and conducted tactical intel collection through military operations.

Today, he leads the nearly 250 Intel 471 employees in serving organizations in over 30 countries across the globe. His strategic leadership has opened the door to intelligence-driven cybersecurity solutions that enable companies and agencies to assess their exposure to existing and emerging cyber threats, so they can proactively neutralize these attacks and reduce their risk profile. Passwaters worked closely with Thoma Bravo, strategic investor in Intel 471, to expand the company’s portfolio with the May 2024 acquisition of Cyborg Security, innovator and early mover in the threat hunting space. Passwaters’ complements his strategic growth initiatives with an unwavering commitment to the company’s culture of integrity, competency, transparency and collaboration.

The Dallas 500 list features the region’s most influential leaders across the area in about 50 different industry categories. To create this highly selective list, the D CEO editors leveraged extensive contacts in local business circles to conduct hundreds of interviews and perform months of research. Along with introducing readers to under-the-radar influencers, the Dallas 500 shares personal details of the top executives, their strategies for success and what makes them tick. The Dallas 500 list is published annually and is distributed in late November.
