Northern Trust Asset Management Names New Head of Tactical Asset Allocation

Peter Wilke Brings More than 20 Years of Multi-Asset Investment Expertise to Role

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM), a leading global investment management firm with $1.3 trillion in assets under management as of September 30, 2024, announced Peter Wilke, CFA has joined as Head of Tactical Asset Allocation.

In this role, Wilke will lead a team of analysts conducting the global macroeconomic research that drives NTAM’s investment views on market-moving factors including growth, inflation, and economic policy. Wilke and the tactical asset allocation research team blend fundamental, macro, quantitative, and technical signals to form a comprehensive view of global markets. Wilke reports to NTAM Chief Investment Officer of Global Asset Allocation Anwiti Bahuguna, PhD.

Wilke is an accomplished multi-asset investor. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Wellington Management, responsible for developing and managing multi-asset portfolios for institutional and financial intermediary clients. Prior to Wellington Management, Wilke was a Portfolio Manager at BlackRock on the Multi-Asset Portfolio Strategies team and Head of the Global Tactical Asset Allocation Research team. Earlier in his career, Wilke was an investment analyst at Deutsche Bank. Wilke holds a master’s degree in economics and finance from the University of Warwick and a bachelor’s degree in international economics from the University of Nottingham. Wilke is a CFA charterholder.
