U-Haul Acquires 5 Self-Storage Properties in Northern Minnesota

BRAINERD, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--U-Haul^® announced the acquisition of five former KO Storage^® facilities across Cass and Crow Wing Counties, all of which are open and serving the self-storage needs of Minnesotans.

The properties, acquired in a package deal on Nov. 7, are all within the Brainerd micropolitan area. There are 790 drive-up units between the five sites, growing the U-Haul self-storage footprint to meet customer demand in the region.

The facilities where customers can now rent U-Haul self-storage include:

• U-Haul Storage North Baxter at 15237 Edgewood Drive in Brainerd offers 379 storage units; RV storage spaces, truck and trailer rentals, and moving supplies from a retail showroom are also available.
• U-Haul Storage Baxter South at 6897 Foley Road in Baxter offers 129 storage units and will be operated remotely.
• U-Haul Storage of Nisswa at 4745 Co Road 77 in Nisswa offers 179 storage units and will be operated remotely.
• U-Haul Storage of MN-210 at 3118 MN-210 in Pillager offers 51 storage units and will be operated remotely.
• U-Haul Storage of Pillager at 1768 Alfalfa Trail SW offers 52 storage units and will be operated remotely.

The Baxter facility offers operating hours of 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday and Saturday; 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. The Brainerd, Baxter, Nisswa, Pillager Alfalfa Trail, and Pillager MN-210 facilities are run remotely and rent storage 24/7.
