U-Haul Acquires 5 Self-Storage Properties in Northern Minnesota

BRAINERD, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--U-Haul® announced the acquisition of five former KO Storage® facilities across Cass and Crow Wing Counties, all of which are open and serving the self-storage needs of Minnesotans.

The properties, acquired in a package deal on Nov. 7, are all within the Brainerd micropolitan area. There are 790 drive-up units between the five sites, growing the U-Haul self-storage footprint to meet customer demand in the region.

Aveen-West will hire up to 10 service-oriented Team Members to help manage and maintain the new properties. U-Haul will look to hire locally to promote job growth in northern Minnesota. The Baxter facility offers operating hours of 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday and Saturday; 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. The Brainerd, Baxter, Nisswa, Pillager Alfalfa Trail, and Pillager MN-210 facilities are run remotely and rent storage 24/7.
