Group 1001 Welcomes Tony Marichal as Vice President of Annuity Operations

ZIONSVILLE, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Group 1001, a leading financial services company, announces Tony Marichal as Vice President of Annuity Operations of Group 1001 Life & Annuity.

Reporting to Chief Operating Officer Martin Woll, Marichal oversees the annuity operations for two Group 1001 companies, Delaware Life Insurance Company and Clear Spring Life and Annuity Company. He is responsible for creating efficiencies across operations, building effective training and development plans, and ensuring the customer experience is a differentiator for the organization.

“Tony’s background in strategic planning and process improvement, combined with his leadership qualities and diverse business experience, makes him the ideal candidate for this role,” said Woll. “We are excited about the expertise and energy he will bring to our organization.”

Before joining Group 1001, Marichal was the Vice President of Enterprise Operations Strategy & Call Center and the Vice President of Call Center Operations at OneAmerica Financial. He also previously held leadership roles at Anthem, Inc. (now Elevance Health, Inc.), Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, and Sallie Mae.
