U-Haul Acquires 2 Self-Storage Facilities in Baldwin County to Meet Customer Needs

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. & ELBERTA, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--U-Haul^® is now serving customers at two new self-storage locations in southern Alabama.

The former Wolf Bay Storage facilities in Robertsdale and Elberta were acquired on Oct. 22. The properties had served as U-Haul dealer locations for more than 20 years.

U-Haul Moving and Storage of Robertsdale at 20121 Baldwin Beach Express encompasses 266,000 square feet across four buildings. U-Haul customers have access to 229 self-storage units and 58 RV/boat/vehicle storage spaces available for rent.

U-Haul Moving and Storage of Elberta at 9901 County Road 83 spans 224,000 square feet across 11 buildings. There is a selection of 317 climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled storage units for rent, as well as 95 RV/boat/vehicle storage spaces.

Combined, U-Haul acquired 546 storage units and 153 RV/boat/vehicle storage spaces on more than 11 acres. Both locations will continue to serve customers with truck and trailer rentals, boxes, moving supplies and more from their retail showrooms.

Normal business hours at U-Haul of Robertsdale and U-Haul of Elberta are 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday; 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. Download the U-Haul app to reserve storage or moving equipment.

Rome intends to hire up to 10 Team Members between the two stores. U-Haul will look to hire locally to promote job growth within Baldwin County.
