The conference is taking place October 17 and 18 and will feature a powerful agenda focused on key trends in the Indigenous economy including deal flow, the investment landscape, Indigenous infrastructure and the role of AI in the next Indigenous economy beyond the 100 billion dollar Indigenous target

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Indigenomics on BAY STREET, an annual national Indigenous economic conference, will bring leadership together to advance economic outcomes across the infrastructure, governance, finance and legal industries.

Building on last year’s success, this year's Indigenomics on BAY STREET will focus on moving beyond the $100 billion Indigenous economy and gathering innovators and leaders to discuss the capital and resource requirements to drive growth and acceleration in the Indigenous economy. The conference will also spark insights and drive conversations around what companies, organization and governments can activate to advance corporate policies into business outcomes and partnerships.

The conference will take place next week on October 17-18 at the Sheraton in Toronto, Ontario, and will include presentations, panels and discussions around ESGI, Indigenous infrastructure, the investment environment and the role of AI in the next indigenous economy.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with key industry players throughout the two-day event and attend the Indigenomics Power Play Gala, where the annual Indigenomics 10 to Watch list will be shared as a celebration of Indigenous business excellence. Started in 2019, the annual list recognizes businesses, partnerships or initiatives who demonstrate leadership in the emerging 100-billion-dollar Indigenous economy.

A sample of industry leaders to connect with and learn from include but are not limited to:

  • Dawson Her Many Horses, Wells Fargo
  • Kody Penner, Nations Royalty
  • Hilary Thatcher, Canadian Infrastructure Bank
  • Fred Di Blasio, LongHouse Capital

Not to be missed, the Indigenomics Institute will be launching the inaugural IndigenomicsAI proof concept of the 100 Billion Dollar Indigenous economy.
