Presidio Further Expands in the Southeast U.S. with Acquisition of Internetwork Engineering

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Presidio, a leading technology services and solutions provider, announced today the acquisition of Internetwork Engineering (IE), a Charlotte, N.C. based IT solution provider with an extensive presence across the Southeast region of the U.S. This strategic acquisition strengthens Presidio’s scale in key markets and provides the opportunity for IE to cross-sell solutions across Presidio’s extensive portfolio.

IE has deep expertise in delivering customized technology solutions, consulting, and operational services to mid-market and enterprise clients across the Southeast. Founded in Charlotte in 1996, IE helps simplify complex IT, enabling organizations to foster more meaningful connections with the people they care about most - their customers and teams. Specializing in collaboration, data center, networking, and cybersecurity solutions, IE aligns technology with business goals to drive transformative growth.

“Joining Presidio enhances our organization’s technology depth with an immediate opportunity to offer more cloud-based services and consumption, managed services, and cyber security,” said Chuck Steiner, President and CEO of Internetwork Engineering. “IE bolsters Presidio’s geographic presence and scale delivering organizational benefits to both companies. We’re excited to join forces and for the opportunities ahead for us.”

"Presidio and IE share similar outcome oriented and people-first cultures dedicated to solving complex IT challenges," said Bob Cagnazzi, CEO at Presidio. “This strategic acquisition provides the right mix of synergies and growth opportunities for both organizations and aligns perfectly with our focus on investing in opportunities that foster growth and innovation. Together, we’re even better positioned to serve our clients and deliver best-in-class solutions across the Southeast.”
