Sigma Finance Corporation (In Official Liquidation) (the “Company”)

As you are aware, David Griffin and I of FTI Consulting (Cayman) Ltd, Suite 3206, 53 Market Street, Camana Bay, PO Box 30613, Grand Cayman KY1-1203, Cayman Islands were appointed as Joint Official Liquidators of the Company (“JOLs”) on 17 July 2024.

Please be advised that the minutes from the first meeting of creditors of the Company held on 12 September have now been uploaded to the creditor portal located at https://www.fticonsulting.com/creditors/sigma-finance-corporation. Certain documents posted to the creditor portal, including these minutes, are password protected and creditors can obtain the password upon request to [e-mail].

As noted in the JOLs’ first report, the JOLs understand that the Joint Administrative Receivers (“JARs”) of the Company intend to declare the final distribution to secured creditors in Q4 2024. Creditors that would like to bring any specific matters to the attention of the JOLs are requested to do so by no later than 25 October 2024.

The JARs will contact secured creditors separately with details of the quantum and timing of the final distribution payment. Following the final distribution to secured creditors, the JOLs will commence with the steps required to finalize the liquidation of the Company which will include preparing the JOLs’ final report and convening a final meeting of creditors. The JOLs will then make an application to the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands requesting the dissolution of the Company.
