Trojan Horse to visit Ontario Conservatives at Queen’s Park, as OCHU-CUPE and the Ontario Health Coalition demand end to privatization of hospital surgeries

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On Friday morning, Doug Ford and the Ontario PC MPPs will have to confront a visitor at Queen’s Park they would rather ignore – a giant 15-foot wooden Trojan Horse will be parked in front of the legislative assembly, symbolizing the “hidden threat of their plans to privatize hospital surgeries.”

As part of their province-wide Trojan Horse tour, CUPE’s Ontario Council of Hospital Unions (OCHU-CUPE) and the Ontario Health Coalition are launching their campaign at Queen’s Park: calling for an end to ongoing privatization of hospital surgeries and diagnostic tests, and demanding the government invest significantly in staffing and capacity in public hospitals.
