Four Pierce & O’Neill Attorneys Named to The Best Lawyers in America List for 2025

Name partners Jesse Pierce, Jack O’Neill earn repeat honors

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Best Lawyers in America, an esteemed legal guide that highlights the nation’s leading lawyers, has recognized four attorneys with Houston-based litigation boutique Pierce & O’Neill, LLP.

Name partners Jesse Pierce and Jack O’Neill were selected for their work in commercial litigation, natural resources law and oil and gas law. Mr. O’Neill earned additional honors in the area of appellate practice.

They were joined on the Best Lawyers list by Mary Pace Livingstone, who was recognized for her work in commercial litigation, and John Schwambach for his admiralty and maritime work.

Mr. Pierce specializes in cases dealing with complex energy and commercial issues. He is board certified in civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a commercial arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and a Litigation Counsel of America senior fellow.

Mr. O’Neill is known for his successful representation of numerous Fortune 500 companies as well as other companies prominent in the Houston area. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and International Association of Defense Counsel.

Defense attorney Ms. Livingstone represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial cases in state and federal courts. She joined the firm in August 2009.

Mr. Schwambach focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes and appellate work, with a reputation for success in civil matters in state and federal courts.
