Avangrid Eclipses 9GW of Installed Capacity at Wind and Solar Sites Powering Over 2 Million Homes

Ongoing construction this summer at multiple Avangrid renewable energy facilities helped the Company eclipse 9GW of installed capacity

ORANGE, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Avangrid, Inc. (NYSE: AGR), a leading sustainable energy company and member of the Iberdrola Group, has eclipsed 9 Gigawatts (GW) of installed capacity at its onshore wind and solar sites this summer.

Construction progress at multiple Avangrid projects this summer helped the Company reach this 9 GW milestone.
