TASI ® Bank President Dave Joves Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award

Recognized by CEO Advisory Group Vistage Group

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dave Joves, president of TASI ® Bank, has been recognized with a lifetime achievement award by Vistage Group, the world’s largest CEO coaching and peer advisory organization for small and midsize business leaders.

Joves, who joined San Francisco TASI Bank in 2011, is a past chairman of the Western Bankers Association (WBA) and Western Independent Bankers (WBI). He currently serves on the boards of the Association of Asian American Bankers and the California Bankers Association.

In presenting the award, Vistage chair Julie Reinganum said, “I have had the privilege of working with Dave over the past 15 years. His leadership is extraordinary. Dave listens deeply and carefully considers the impact of his decisions on his team, his peers, his community, and his family. He has achieved much external recognition and has continued to be a modest and humble leader for all. Dave is exceptionally generous. He lifts all of us when he shares his insights and knowledge.”

Current Vistage group member Ravi Thota said, “I have known Dave for almost two decades. He inspires others through his actions, humility, and discipline. He is excellent at setting a vision, communicating it clearly, and keeping his team focused on execution day after day. He is extremely generous with his time helping other professionals and volunteering to lead industry organizations. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch Dave’s illustrious career and his contributions to society. I’m excited to see Dave recognized for his leadership and contributions.”

Since joining TASI Bank in 2011, Joves has overseen the bank's growth from $35 million in assets to $585 million in assets currently and expanded its footprint to serve businesses in the nine counties of the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties.

“We are mavericks in the banking industry,” Joves said. “As a Minority Depository Institution (MDI) and an SBA Preferred Lender, we work with businesses that are often overlooked by larger financial institutions. We are also one of the few banks that provides a full array of services to all participants in the California cannabis industry, including growers, retail outlets, and manufacturers.”
