Federman & Sherwood Investigates First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union for Data Breach

OKLAHOMA CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union (“First Commonwealth”) with respect to their recent data breach. On June 27, 2024, First Commonwealth became aware of an unauthorized cybersecurity incident. First Commonwealth immediately launched an investigation into the matter. The investigation discovered that on June 26, 2024, an unauthorized party may have accessed certain individuals’ sensitive personal information. While the investigation is ongoing, First Commonwealth began sending notices to individuals that may be affected. The type of information potentially exposed includes: name, address, Social Security number, date of birth, or account number.
