Fiber Forward AMPLIFY Awards Celebrate Key Industry Leaders at Fiber Connect 2024

Fiber Broadband Association recognizes individuals and companies amplifying the impacts of fiber broadband

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today at Fiber Connect 2024, the Fiber Broadband Association announced the winners of the 2024 Fiber Forward AMPLIFY Awards. The award program was developed to recognize individuals, companies, and innovations advancing and strengthening the fiber broadband industry.

“This is our award program’s inaugural year, and the submissions for each category were outstanding. They truly highlighted the innovation and leadership infused into the fiber broadband industry,” said Doug Mohney, FBA’s Fiber Forward Editor-in-Chief. “These people and organizations are helping the fiber broadband industry progress and helping ensure every community can access reliable fiber broadband connectivity. 2024 Fiber Forward Award Winners

Fiber Under Forty Award: Ashley Church, General Manager, GFiber. This award is reserved for individuals born in 1985 or later and are impacting their companies, or the industry, far beyond their years.

Women Changing Fiber for Good Award: Cheri Beranek, President & Chief Executive Officer, Clearfield, Inc. This award recognizes females making changes that will impact and improve the industry for years to come.

Advocacy Allstar Award: Nicole Cottle, Director of Government Relations, UTOPIA Fiber. This award recognizes individuals advancing the agenda of the fiber broadband industry on the state and federal levels.

Community Impact Award: Lenora, Kan., and Nex-Tech, LLC. This award recognizes fiber broadband projects enabling communities and changing lives across North America.

Product Innovation Award: 3-GIS (by SSP Innovations) SSP Vision. This award showcases technology innovation and advancement that expands fiber broadband’s ability to deliver the services customers demand today and over the next decade.

Taking Fiber Further Award: Greenlight Networks. This award recognizes teams working together to support community broadband fiber network expansion, including construction, planning, and integration.

Constellation Award: Calix and Tombigbee Fiber. This award celebrates the companies that formed a coalition to advance fiber broadband networks across communities, states, and regions.
